Smart Living Technologies are becoming a central theme for leader technology providers in the Alpine Space. However some weak points, as the limited cooperation between stakeholders and the scarce dissemination of research results, keep the Alpine Space from becoming an excellence in this field.

Combining in an innovative way the principles and the objective of the technology research program H2020, with a “quadruple helix” approach, CARE4TECH – Cross-sectoral Alliances for Smart Living – aims at shaping the actual technology scenario into a stable and long-lasting knowledge, leading to a better cooperation among all types of stakeholders: research, business, institution and the community.

The project therefore aims at connecting and strengthening technological excellences in the Alpine Space and in the field of Smart Living Technologies, supplying essential inputs for a mature innovation policy, and allowing the creation of a common innovation program, owned by all the regions of the Alpine Space in the following areas:

1. Smart Mobility
2. Smart Health
3. Smart Energy
4. Smart Home
5. Smart Manufacturing
6. Smart Workplace
7. Smart governance
8. Smart Commerce
9. Smart Agriculture
10. Smart Infrastructure
